Lamine Yamal’s rise was almost exceptional.
At the age of only 18, he is already a domestic Treble winner at Barcelona, a European championship winner near Spain, one of the most exciting strikers in world football and a leader for the Ballon d’Or 2025.
Now he has added another award, which is normally reserved for much more established players – his own signature logo with Adidas.
The design pays homage to its roots in Zone 304 from Rocafonda. It merges the initials ‘Ly’ with 304, the final digits of the postcode of its neighborhood in Mataró (08304), where Yamal grew up. The result is a brave brand in the square style that combines personal identity with street culture.
Yamal and Adidas revealed the logo in a playful Instagram video that shows Barca and Spain’s sketching designs in a studio before the finished version was launched in a paper plane by a stylized Catalan suburb.
While Adidas has not yet confirmed where the logo appears, it is only a matter of time before it adorns boots, training equipment and clothing – another symbol of how quickly Yamal cemented itself as one of the generations of football.
