The qualification of the Champions League and a title of the UEFA Conference League have successfully completed the first year of the blues under Enzo Maresca.

But after so much domestic and European success since the turn of the century, Chelsea will desperately go to go one step further in 2026.
The World Cup in summer will be the ideal platform for Maresca to deliver a winning mentality before the start of the new season.
Los Angeles FC, the Brazilian Club Flamengo and the Tunisian side of Esperance de Tunis are her four opponents of the group stage in the reformed tournament states.
Chelsea strengthened himself before her opening game with the signing of striker Liam Delap from Ipswich Town.

But that did not stop the blues from looking for a new goalkeeper, but a deal for Maignan collapsed on the day of broadcasting before the World Club Championship.
The Frenchman had already approved personal conditions with Chelsea, who wanted to complete a deal before the World Cup.
However, this did not happen and it remains to be seen whether you will visit the move again at a later date.
Four in the back

With eight goals and 14 templates in all competitions, the World Cup winner has made a strong partnership alongside Caicedo.
Another guaranteed name in the start -xi is Cole Palmer, who was exposed to a difficult second half of the season according to his standards.
The 22-year-old assisted two goals in her turnaround against Betis and sits a total of 67 target contributions in Chelsea in two seasons.
Attack additions
After his debut Prime Minister League season, Delap came to Chelsea, who also sparked the transfer interest of Newcastle and Manchester United.

Neto’s fantastic overlap could get the best out of the Delap, or it cannot be I Madueke who gave the nods to start next season.
He only finished behind Palmer and Jackson with seven leagers and is probably the more direct option of the two.
