Ex-chacher United boss Erik Ten Hag compared Antony with his “son” because he was able to overthrow suggestions for the Brazilian winger again.

Ten HAG, who took over the head coach of Bayer Leverkusen this summer and replaced Xabi Alonso, has contracted the wing player twice during his management career.
The Dutchman brought Antony out of Sao Paulo in 2020 to sign Ajax, and then again in 2022 when the Brazilian signed 86 million pounds for Manchester United.
With such a success record between the couple, Ten Hag had to tackle rumors that he could soon be reunited with the wing player.
“He is of great quality. I signed it twice. He was like a son for me, he is still a son for me,” Ten Hag told German Outlet Bild.
Antony is currently one of five players who train separately from the Manchester United squad because they want to find new clubs for the upcoming season.
