Giorgi Mamardashvili could leave Liverpool – just a year after moving to Merseyside, according to reports.
The Georgian has been unable to displace Alisson as Arne Slot’s first choice between the posts this season.

Mamardashvili joined the Premier League champions after moving from Valencia in 2024.
After being loaned out to the Spanish side last season, he made the move ahead of the current campaign.
However, the 25-year-old only made twelve appearances for the Reds across all competitions.
This includes a stint in the team between October and November after Alisson sustained a hamstring injury.
Mamardashvili has also played in the Carabao Cup and FA Cup so far this season.
However, Slot earned him a starting place in last week’s Champions League round of 16 first leg against Galatasaray.
But Alisson immediately returned to the starting line-up against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday after recovering from injury.
As a result, Mamardashvili was taken out of the side and returned to the Anfield bench, where he remained for Wednesday night’s second leg against Galatasaray, which you can hear live on The Pitch Prospect.
According to TEAMtalk, he could be on his way out soon.
Several clubs have inquired with Liverpool about his availability in the summer.

This is despite Mamardashvili’s contract still running for five years, which expires in 2031.
Mamardashvili shows “patience”
The goalkeeper himself, meanwhile, has expressed his willingness to wait for an opportunity at the club.
Before the defeat in Turkey, he appeared on the Reds Roundtable and spoke about the need for “patience.”
Mamardashvili explained: “My former goalkeeping coach Jose Manuel Ochotorena told me when I was in Valencia that I had to find a balance between ambition and patience.”
“So I keep working hard and you never know when the opportunity will come.”
“Of course it’s never easy because there’s only one goalkeeper. But like I said, if I don’t play it doesn’t bother me – I have to work hard every day and that’s it.”

“My time will definitely come. Maybe not this year, but my time will come.”
“For me too [joining Liverpool]it was a little longer [to wait] Because I signed for Liverpool two, almost three years ago and had to wait to come here last season.
“It’s been a really long year for me and now I’m happy to be here.
“The most important thing for me was the support because I didn’t speak much English so it helped me. Mac Allister, Alisson too.” [helped] and now I speak much better.
Mamardashvili could get another chance to impress in the FA Cup next month.
Slot’s side travel to the Etihad Stadium on April 4 to face Manchester City in the quarter-finals.
