Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah in Liverpool were examined on Sunday because of their peat eggs against Tottenham Hotspur, while the Dutch striker could face a FA sanction.
Gakpo grabbed the third in Liverpool’s 5-1 strike from Spurs, which confirmed her status as a Premier League master this weekend and rocked his kit in order to reveal a vest with the inscription “I belong to Jesus”.
According to Law 4 in the Handbook of the FA: “Equipment must not have political, religious or personal slogans, statements or pictures. The players must not reveal underwear that show political, religious, personal slogans, statements or pictures or advertising as the manufacturer’s logo.
“With every crime, the player and/or the team is approved by the competitive organizer, the National Football Association or by FIFA.”
It remains to be seen what – if at all – the punishment is triggered to the Dutchman who apparently inspired himself by Kaka. The legendary Brazilian midfielder wore a vest with the same message in the same font, while in a triumphant Champions League final in 2007 against Liverpool for AC Milan.
Salah scored Liverpool’s fourth gate of a Cathartic afternoon. The Egyptian striker, who stole many of his strikes this season with an archer celebration of the UFC fighter Alex Pereira, made a selfie with the amount of Aufield.
The productive striker explained this tack change after the game. “At the beginning of the season I always make selfies with players [who score]For this I said: “Ok, I have to think of something special because it is a picture that will be there forever” BBC Sport.
While Salah is hardly the first scorer to turn the camera on itself, the eyebrows were pulled up by the devices used. Liverpool’s Talisman got a Google Pixel phone from a club employee who was positioned behind the goal and asked some to speculate whether this was a guerrilla marketing of the Tech company that is one of the team’s sponsors.
Even if it was a pre -planned cooperation with Google, Salah will not be punished.
