As part of the deal, Liverpool has a buyback option, which is believed to be the fee of about twice as high that talk sport understands.

Everton, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Porto were interested in signing Doak this summer, while Ipswich Town and Crystal Palace pursued approaches for him in January.

Instead, he joined Andoni Iraola’s side and has become her fourth summer sign.

“I hummed to be here,” he said after his move had been announced.

“I have the feeling that it is the right time for me and it is a great opportunity to play football regularly at the highest level. It feels like the perfect fit.

“The team plays a very nice football. It is quick and really fits my game, so I had the feeling that I couldn’t say no to the chance to play here.”

Doak will wear the No.11 shirt for his new club and change the name on the back of his jerseys.

The 19-year-old will show “Gannon Doak” on his shirt for Bournemouth this season when he chose his second first name.

His arrival follows a loan at Middlesbrough Middlesbrough last season.

Doak scored three goals and provided seven templates in 24 appearances for Boro.

In the meantime, during his time in Anfield, he appeared ten appearances for Liverpool for Liverpool.

The teenager signed by Celtic in 2021 at the age of only 16 after he was already presented for the Scottish giants.

Doak was an unused substitute in the community of Shield at the beginning of this month.

However, he was not included in the matchday groups for the season opener against Bournemouth on Friday.

Late goals from Federico Chiesa and Mohamed Salah sealed a 4-2 victory for the side of Arne Slot.

The sale of Doak is guaranteed to bring the total turnover of Liverpools Sommer in GBP and 227 million GBP, including add-ons.
