Luis Diaz has a significant indication that indicates that he wants to stay with the Premier League leader Liverpool.
The 28-year-old took on a new role this season under the Management of Arne Slot and rejects his preferred left wing roller to play more centrally.
The change in the position helped Diaz to be more effective at the sharp end of the field – his 13 goals at three months of the season, which most of them scored in a single year in Liverpool – and the club takes the title of Premier League after being drawn 13 points in front of Arsenal.
Although Liverpool is going well in both domestic and European competition, Diaz’s future was never certain. Despite the continuing financial dispute of the club, the Colombian, a native of Spanish speakers, was repeatedly associated with a change to the Catalan giant Barcelona.
In comments on the club channels of Liverpool, as you expect, Diaz has indicated that he continued to be fully committed to the club and, in particular, referred to the achievements of other Colombian players who played in the Premier League.
“Every now and then I find out the statistics when people publish them on social media,” said Diaz. “But how nice it is to be as great Colombian players like Hugo [Rodallega] And everyone else.
“It is a real pleasure for me to be right behind them, and I notice that I might catch them at some point. You could say that it is another one of these personal goals that I have. I know that things are going well for myself and I’m in a decent form.
“What I want the most is still history and primarily that Colombian who comes to England to play really leave their traces. This is the key for all of us to give a positive picture of our country, just like all of us. Now those of us are trying to do exactly that. I am very satisfied with it and we hope that we can continue to continue the same things in the future.”
Diaz has scored the fourth highest number of goals of the Premier League from a Colombian, trace Juan Pablo Angel (44), Hamilton Ricard (31) and Hugo Rodallega (29) with his current balance of 25.
