Manchester United continues her hunt for Europa League glory when she visits Lyon on Thursday evening in the first leg of her quarter -finals.
The Red Devils trip to France stumbled at the weekend with only seven games, who were only seven with only seven games at the weekend with just seven games for 13th place in the Premier League table. Lyon will be without two main strikers on Thursday when Malick Fofana, who fails with an ankle injury, was recently connected in the treatment room by the young wing player Ernest Nuamah. The Ghana international was in excellent form before tearing his ACL against Lille just seven minutes after the weekend.
There is a group of well -known faces who will welcome United supporters on Thursday, in particular the former Red Devils middle field player Nemanja Matic -who had some selected words for Andre Onana during the preload of the first leg.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Alexandre Lacazette are former Arsenal stars, while Moussa Niakhat, Duje Caleta-Car, Jordan Veretout and Said Benrahma have the Premier League experience.

United mostly underwhelmed this season, but they generally saved their best performance for the European stage, especially since Amorim’s arrival in November. As a minimum, you would like to avoid defeat before the second leg of the next week in Old Trafford.
However, Lyon will make it difficult if Fonseca’s men in a strong form. It is unlikely that forward injuries will suppress their immense attack threat – they have scored two or more in their last 11 games – but the French team enables the possibilities at the other end if the attackers from United decide.
