According to The Pitch Prospect, Manchester United have identified Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly as a potential summer target.
Lewis-Skelly has struggled for minutes this season, putting his place at the World Cup in England in jeopardy.

The 19-year-old has made just one Premier League start for the Gunners all season.
Both Riccardo Calafiori And Piero Hincapie are ahead of the Hale End graduate in the pecking order.
United want to sign a new left-back as competition for Luke Shaw.
Lewis-Skelly not in the England squad
Lewis-Skelly’s lack of game time has led to him being left out of Thomas Tuchel’s last two England squads.
This means his chances of taking part in the World Cup are slim to none.
There is great competition on the left side of defense, currently also at Newcastle Lewis HallManchester City starlet Nico O’Reilly and the veteran Shaw Everyone seems to be one step ahead of the Arsenal man.
Lewis-Skelly has also been tipped to seek a move away from the Emirates this summer.
Former England striker Darren Bent told Drive: “He finished last season really well – he played for England, scored on his debut for England, was brilliant.”
“He has signed a new contract [in the summer] and I think, “I’m coming back.” [this season]this will be his time’.
“[Instead] Calafiori comes back and was absolutely incredible earlier this season and Lewis Skelly didn’t come in.

“And then when he came in, the performances in the league – he was good in the Champions League – but his performances in the league weren’t great.
“And then Hincapie came and he was brilliant. Now Hincapie plays first, then Calafiori. So now he’s third [Lewis-Skelly].
“Hincapie is obviously out on loan, so if Arsenal take him on permanently, as it looks like, he might have to.” [leave].
“Look, I’d be sad to see him go because of the way he exploded at the scene.”
Luke Shaw competition
Shaw, 30, has been a surprise success for United this season and has put some of his well-documented injury problems behind him.
He has played in all 31 of the Red Devils’ Premier League games this season.

United currently sit third in the Premier League and have been revitalized under Michael Carrick, who will manage the team until the end of the season.
The Manchester club have not yet announced who will take over as permanent manager at the start of the 2026/27 season.
Carrick has been almost flawless so far, losing just one of his ten games as manager and winning seven times.
