Man Utd eye Marcus Rashford swap deal for Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Manchester United have made contact with Napoli about a swap deal between Marcus Rashford and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, according to a report.

Rashford, who lost his place in the squad under new head coach Ruben Amorim, was made available for a transfer this month but United have yet to receive anything other than interest on loans from teams unable to meet their financial demands.

AC Milan have dominated the headlines but Rashford could be heading to another part of Italy L’Equipe State talks are currently underway with Napoli about an astronomical exchange agreement.

Napoli are reportedly willing to cash in on Kvaratskhelia for a reasonable price and are even said to be in talks with United over a possible swap for Rashford, who is one of Antonio Conte’s targets to bolster his attack.

Complicating matters for United is the concrete interest in Kvaratskhelia from Paris Saint-Germain, who have resumed their hunt for the Georgian international from the summer transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano notes that Napoli is also in direct contact with PSG, who are proposing their own swap deal. Central defender Milan Skriniar is mentioned as a potential replacement.

Napoli have offered Kvaratskhelia a new contract but the 23-year-old, whose current contract expires in 2027, has made no response as he weighs up all the options available to him.
