Manchester United may not have collected as many points as they would have liked last season, but they certainly did it with a newly released baseball jersey.
The striking adidas jersey is called a classic baseball uniform of the Major League. It has a complete button-down front and a traditional pinstripe design that brings one of the best-known clubs of England American Flair.
The fat red base is complemented by sharp black vertical lines, black side walls and crisp white details that frame the silhouette. Instead of the club’s standard ridge, the shirt uses the Red Devil emblem and gives the retro look an aggressive edge.
A black adidas logo sits on the right breast, while a badge near the hem “1878” is a homage to United’s founding year.
United is expected to wear the jersey during her upcoming pre-season tour through the United States as part of the Premier League summer series in July and August of the Premier League.
They are not the only side sponsored by Adidas that steps on the plate. Clubs like Real Madrid, Juventus and Boca Juniors wore all similar shirts in the MLB style during the World Club Championship.
