Patrick Dorgu says he is “incredibly proud” to name a Manchester United player after confirming his move by Lecce.
The 20-year-old wrote a five and a half year contract in Old Trafford with the option of an additional year and becomes rushing amorim for the first time as a united head coach.
Dorgu was mainly signed as the left wing back for United, but can also play on the opposite flank and in advanced areas. His change was confirmed on the Sunday after a medical delay that had been delayed when he was waiting for the release to fly to England.

The technical director of United, Jason Wilcox, said about the new recruit of the club: “Patrick is a really exciting talent. His strong defensive and attacking properties, adaptability and work rate will make him an important component of Ruben Amorim’s squad.
“Patrick has an excellent start to his career and at the age of 20 we know that he will develop under the guidance of our excellent coaching team.
“Patrick is the latest exciting young player we brought to the club. We believe that each of these talents has a key role in the achievement of success, which everyone strives for at Manchester United. “
The shirt number of Dorgu at United has not yet been confirmed and he will not be part of the Matchday squad for the Premier League -Clash on Sunday with Crystal Palace. He will offer a competition for places for Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui – both versatile players who can play on both flanks – as well as the Perenian injured Luke Shaw, who slowly integrates into the fold after the finished closure.
