Manchester United continues their search for the redemption of the Europa League on Thursday evening when they organize Real Sociedad in the second on -board of their last 16 tie.
After the Red Devils won a 1-1 draw in San Sebastian in the first leg, the Red Devils know that the victory of a description will be sufficient to reach the quarter-finals. The Europa League remains the only silverware from United in Silberwaren and Ruben Amorim this season is desperate to avoid an early exit this week.
With injuries that tighten United’s problems, Amorim is limited in his team selection for such an important part of the real sociedad outside of the form.
So the Red Devils could stand for the collision.
GK: Andre Onana – The camera international played admirable against La Real last Thursday and has to be similarly stoic in the second leg. It could even be needed for a penalty shootout.
CB: Nussair Mazraoui – Mazraoui was used in a broader function against Arsenal on Sunday, but was able to connect the gap of injuries to Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez and Leny Yoro against Real Sociedad.
CB: Matthijs de Ligt – The Dutch defender must be on alert in order to suppress the euro 2024 winner Mikel Oyarzabal, the Spaniard from the position during a lively prerequisite for the first leg.
CB: Victor Lindelof – The Ayden Heaven impressed against former employer Arsenal at the weekend, but is unlikely that it will penetrate the starting line -up in front of Mazraoui or Lindelof.
RM: Diogo Dalot – Dalot was shot by teammate Rasmus Hojlund during the trip to Spain last week and will look for La Real for redemption this time.
Cm: Bruno Fernandes – Fernandes was again United’s salvation of grace at the weekend, and his brilliant free kick offered the Red Devils the lead against the course of the game. The skipper will be of crucial importance in the last eight.
Cm: Casemiro – The Brazilian was surprisingly impenetrable to Arsenal and won more duels and duels than any other player on the field. The returning Manuel Ugarte will be part of the squad on Thursday, which will be brought with the starting lying with Casemiro.
LM: Patrick Dorgu – The winter recruit missed the clash with Arsenal on the weekend when he served the second game of his three games domestic suspension, but can be involved in the tricky Takeefusa Kubo on Thursday.

LF: Alejandro Garnacho – While Garnacho was not devastating against the Gunners on Sunday, he showed an insight into the speed and the tricks that make him a handful of its best side. However, he has to offer even more.
