Real Betis has opened talks with Manchester United about another loan for wing players Antony, as a report announced.
Antony joined Betis’s loans in January and wasted little time to come into the eye in Spain. He scored four goals and four templates in eleven games for his new side, which does not have the opportunity to buy him permanently.
The way it looks, he is due again at United this summer, but ABC State Betis examines a way to keep Antony beyond this season.
It is said that Betis in United about an 18-month loan contract for Antony, after financial questions threatened to see the move, ultimately temporarily turned to a six-month contract for the Brazilian.
Now that both Betis and Antony were delighted with how things are going, formal conversations about the expansion of Antony’s loans for the 2025/26 season will take place in the coming weeks.
The new agreement with United could include a potential option to make the move permanently, but possibly require Antony to sign a new contract with United First. The current deal of the wing player is in 2027 and United would probably not be ready to agree to a loan where he could return in his contract with only 12 months.
Much could depend on Betis’ prospects of playing European football. United wants to find a real buyer who can pay a significant fee for the 25 -year -old – the Red Devils recognize that they will make an enormous loss of 81.3 million GBP to sign it – and therefore potential buyers will probably need to be associated with at least the Europa League
It looks like Betis in La Liga takes sixth place, well on the right track, to qualify for European competition.
