Man Utd star responds to Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s ‘overpaid’ & ‘not good enough’ jibes

Manchester United Diogo Dalot’s defender insisted that the team improved under head coach Ruben Amorim, although co -owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s devastating evaluation of the current squad.

Ratcliffe was brutally honest during a recent interview round. The minority shareholder with sporting control of the club called five players – Antony, Casemiro, Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund and Jadon Sancho – who still have outstanding transmission fees that United have to pay this summer before they are sensational that “some are not good enough and are probably overpaid”.

These explosive comments were sent to Dalot before United competes against Leicester City on Sunday evening. The Portuguese full -back is not immediately afraid of criticism.

“Ultimately, this club will go through what we do on the field, so we are all responsible for the future and the dynamics of the association,” he told reporters. “We know that we have this responsibility, but we want to take it over.

“The pressure is high, but for a certain reason we are the players of Manchester United. We want to change things ourselves. It is clear that if you are 14th in the league, we don’t do what we should, so we want to change that. If we want to bring Manchester United back to the top, we have to make a lot better.”

However, Dalot was not limited to self -harm. The 25-year-old was interested in emphasizing that improvements have been made in the past few weeks that have now been unbeaten in the last six excursions.

“I think you are now seeing a much better team than a few months ago,” emphasized Dalot. “I think it is clear that when we talk about needing time, we don’t say just to buy time. Obviously it is difficult if you play for a club like this because you have to win through always.

“The pressure is always high to win every game, and if the results do not come, it is difficult to show progress. But I think they have seen something different in the last few games. There were different styles, but overall we improve. It is something that everyone can see – but the results will ultimately show our position.”

United was a worthy winner against Real Sociedad in the Europa League on Thursday evening and achieved a 4-1 win that booked her place in the quarter-finals of the competition. Amorim’s team has achieved 25 shots, ten of which were designated on the finish line and an XG of 4.02 – new heights in each category during the Rocky Office of the Portuguese boss Opta.

This fracture of shape fell together with controversial sacks, which were led by Ratcliffe and his parent company Ineos. “You can see that this is a time of change, especially since Ineos came in,” admitted Dalot. “You can see that there is a different approach to build a new structure in the club. It is clear.

“Everyone sees it and whether they like it or not, they can see some changes – and it is something else that we have not seen before. So you can see that the club wants to go in a direction in which he would like to rebuild Manchester UTD and bring Manchester UTD back to the top. I hope in the next few years, we can go there.”
