Manchester United are facing a huge loss as Donny Van de Beek is set to leave the club for good.
According to the Spanish media Relevo, the midfielder is set to move to Girona for just 500,000 euros. [£423,000].

Girona will play in the Champions League next year after Manchester City – the club’s parent club – was granted permission to play in the same competition as the Spanish side.
Van de Beek joined Manchester United in 2020 in a deal worth £35 million plus £5 million in add-ons.
This came after he had been promoted to the first team at Ajax and had proven himself to be one of the most sought-after midfielders in Europe.
Unfortunately, the midfielder’s time at Old Trafford simply did not go according to plan: the Dutch star only made 62 appearances in four years and scored two goals.
Van de Beek played seven games for Everton on loan during the 2021/22 season and was hoping to get his career back on track under Erik ten Hag after signing in the summer.
Ten Hag coached the midfielder at Ajax, but Van de Beek only made twelve appearances under his old boss at Old Trafford.
Last season, the Dutchman moved to Eintracht Frankfurt, with the German team having a £9.5 million option to sign the midfielder permanently.
However, this option was denied to him after he failed to impress in eight appearances for the club.
