Rashford moves closer to the exit at Old Trafford.

In the 2-0 defeat against Newcastle he returned to the Portuguese coach’s squad, but remained on the bench after four games.

And now the England striker appears to be moving further towards the exit door.

He has now signed with the CAA Stellar agency as he is looking for a new club.

This is the same agency that brokered Gareth Bale’s move from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in 2013.

The legendary Welshman moved for a then world record fee of £85.3 million.

And he won the Champions League five times and LaLiga three times.

However, it is understood Rashford’s brother and manager Dwaine Maynard will also receive a large share of any transfer should it come to pass.

In December 2024, Rashford was open and honest about a potential exit, insisting he would do so without regrets.

Speaking to esteemed journalist Henry Winter, Rashford said: “Personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.

“When I leave, there will be no hard feelings. You won’t get any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s who I am as a person.”

“If I know a situation is already bad, I won’t make it worse. I’ve seen other players leave in the past and I don’t want to be that person.”

“When I leave, I will make a statement and it will be 100 percent mine.”

Rashford added: “I’m halfway through my career. I don’t expect to reach my climax now.

“I have been in the Premier League for nine years so far and have learned a lot from it, which has helped me grow as a player and as a person.”

“So I don’t regret the last nine years.

“I won’t have any regrets in the future because I take things day by day and sometimes bad things happen, sometimes good things happen. I just try to keep a good balance.”

It’s a worrying time for Amorim at Man United and Rashford is now likely to leave the club.

Speaking to Sky Sports following Rashford’s comments, Amorim said: “Of course it’s a difficult situation.”

“But I understand that these type of players have a lot of people around them who make some decisions that are not the player’s first idea.”

“So I can understand it and separate things.

“I’m always here to help Marcus as another player. I have to do what I have to do.”

“They chose to do the interview because it’s not just Marcus. I understand that.”

“As a coach, I just focus on performance and the way you train.”

“Incidentally, it is better for me and the club to deal with it in due course.”

“Right now I’m focused on improving Marcus – we desperately need a talented guy like Marcus at this moment.”

“I’m forgetting the interview for now, I’m only now seeing what I see on the pitch.”

Rashford has been linked with possible moves to Arsenal, Chelsea, Paris-Saint-Germain, Barcelona and clubs in Saudi Arabia.

However, one club that may not sign the English striker is Tottenham Hotspur.

Following Rashford’s comments, Ange Postecoglou was questioned about possible interest in the striker – but he quickly dismissed all rumours.

“No interest, doesn’t matter,” said the Australian coach.

“No interest, he’s a Man United player. A very good player. They have a lot of good players.”

“I manage my players, I think other people will manage their players.”

“But as for Marcus’ situation, I don’t really feel like investigating it further.”
