Martin Odegaard fires title warning ahead of blockbuster Arsenal-Man City clash

Martin Odegaard is confident that Arsenal “has to meet another equipment” if you prepare for it to take up in a long-awaited Premier League collision against Manchester City.

Arsenal and City have been a bitter title competitor in the last few seasons, the latter continued the dominance of the division under Pep Guardiola.

But the City 2024/25 campaign has not planned and culminated in a terrible form -Guardiola’s worst series of his career -which she put in fourth place in the Premier League table, 15 points behind the leaders Liverpool.

Arsenal is the second, nine points behind it, and it will take a little extraordinary for Mikel Areteta’s team to close the gap to a Liverpool team that has hardly missed a beat all season.

However, Odegaard remains optimistic about the opportunities of Arsenal and is confident that it comes even more from a team that has shown great character strength under Artetetas Management.

“We are in a good position and have to remember it,” said Odegaard. “But I have the feeling that we have a different equipment and it was the same last year. We really reached the top towards the end of the season. Hopefully we can do it again.

“If you are so close, you get even hungry, you will get even more determination to do it, especially last year when we were there on the last day and could really feel it so close to urge it now.

“I’ve dreamed of it since my young child. To win one of the big trophies, and in particular the Premier League was always something special, so this would be the biggest dream. It is what we work for every day and I think I think I Think it is important to stay at the moment and not look too far ahead.

Liverpools 2-0 victory against Bournemouth on Saturday was her 17th victory of the campaign. Mohamed Salah was the star again and scored his 20th and 21th goals of the Premier League season, and the pressure is now on Arsenal to extend their unbeaten series with four games with a victory against City.
