Arsenal could not return to the Premier League in the Premier League on Wednesday evening when Nottingham Forest held on a torso.
The Gunners were improved by the 1-0 defeat on Saturday against West Ham United and did an admirable work to limit the dangerous hosts on the outlier, but they did not do enough in the last third to collect all three points.
Nottingham Forest will be satisfied with one point after two defeats, but Chelsea and Manchester City have closed the gap to third place.
How the game unfolds
Both teams made the competition in front of the back of the defeats, although Nottingham Forest first enjoyed the comfort of the town square since they beat Brighton 7-0 at the beginning of the month.

While Forest conceded four at the weekend, her defensive record is impressive this season and it would always be a hard struggle for this exhausted arsenal.
There was little to criticize. A platform was laid by a solid performance in the defensive transition to win this game. Forest was never built in front of Steam, and David Raya enjoyed a quiet trip. However, the Gunners could not win the one moment they need. There was a threat from set pieces, but they faded considerably in the second half.

At the other end, Calafiori showed its value as an absolutely unique footballer. The converted central defender won his two Premier League goals wonderfully this season, and he came in a whisker to achieve a sublime third place after he corresponds to a wonderful skill for Outfox Nicolas Dominguez. He received a license for sometimes as a second striker and collected a lot of box touches, with the balance of Declan Rice’s deeper positioning being delivered.
Arsenal has had no threat in the last few games, but on Wednesday evening in front of Areteta, who had him from an unlikely source of the player at half -time, integrated him from Areta.
While Forest was awarded at home this season, only lost twice and won five of the last six Premier League games on the City Ground before Arsenal’s visit, Nuno wanted to restore stability during the week. They entered Fulham and Newcastle from the back of the defeats.
