Despite reported interest from Real Madrid, Michael Olise is unlikely to leave Bayern Munich this summer.
That’s the view of European football journalist Andy Brassell after the Spanish giants were tipped for a move.

Brassell admits it is “hard to imagine” Bayern parting ways with Olise at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old has three years left on his contract after joining the club from Crystal Palace in 2024.
However, Bild am Sonntag reported that Real Madrid had shown interest in Olise.
The Frenchman is said to count Blancos club president Florentino Perez among his admirers.
Meanwhile, it is rumored that Real Madrid are even prepared to pay £138 million to sign the winger in the summer.
To take me?
Although Brassell believes Olise has fewer reasons to leave Bayern for their Champions League rivals than at any time in the last five to ten years.
Asked whether the Bundesliga champions would sell him, he told The Pitch Prospect.com: “No, they won’t if they can help it. I don’t think they will.”
“It’s hard for me to imagine at the moment and maybe I’m being a bit disingenuous. I can’t imagine any club really poaching him at the moment because he’s having a great time.”
“He is developing into one of the best players in the world, he is paid very well.”
“His next contract, which they will take on as soon as possible, will see him paid even better, they absolutely love him there.”

“Really, Bayern helped turn him from a very good Premier League player who will never be forgotten into a real world star.”
“I don’t know if ‘Global Star’ is the right term, because of his demeanor and the fact that he’s quite shy, I think that might stop him from ever becoming a superstar.”
“He works for Bayern, I think. Why give up the stability they have at the moment to probably not even get a raise at Real Madrid and certainly not be in a position where you’re guaranteed to win things?”
“I know that Real Madrid is a very, very attractive club in many ways.
“But there are probably fewer reasons to abandon Bayern for Real Madrid than at any time in the last five to 10 years, I would say.”
“He will eclipse Thomas Müller’s single-season record for assists. 23 assists in all competitions. It’s incredible.”

“He will be in the top 20 in the Bundesliga alone unless something really bad happens to him between this concession and his next appearance.”
“He is also in a situation where he will be an absolute key player for France at the World Cup this summer.”
Olise has scored 15 goals and provided 27 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions this season.
This includes 19 Bundesliga assists this season, with eight games still to play.
Olise transfer theory
Brassell believes the reported interest in Olise from elsewhere could be true.
However, he adds that the cost of a potential deal is greater than that associated with signing the forward.

Instead, he has a theory about the transfer speculation and admits: “Firstly, other elite clubs would be negligent if they were not interested in him.”
“But I think it is notable that there are reports in the media that other clubs are interested in him, even clubs where Olise is going above and beyond their means.”
“If that didn’t happen, his agent wouldn’t be doing his job because he needs to get him an absolutely massive raise.”
Olise’s contract not only runs for three years, but it also does not contain an exit clause.
It follows his £50million move from Palace to Bayern two years ago.
Since then he has won both the Bundesliga and the German Super Cup with the club.
