Newcastle host ‘Road to Wembley’ exhibition celebrating Carabao Cup triumph

The long waiting of Newcastle United for the domestic cutlery ended last season when she increased the Carabao Cup increased and the club with a unique exhibition that conquered the spirit of her journey for honor.

“The road to Wembley”Organizes the Baltic Center for Contemporary Art in cooperation with versus, supporters offered an immersive, documentary retelling of the success of the Magpies’ Cup.

The exhibition contained more than 100 photos of club photographers Serena Taylor, Harriet Massey and Michelle Mercer, each capturing intimate moments from the campaign. Visitors also experienced cinematic displays, installations by Fan Group World Flags and the rare chance of standing next to the Carabao Cup trophy.

The starting event included a panel with curators Ewen Spencer and Jimmy Turrell and the Newcastle legend Rob Lee before the celebrations spilled into the night with a DJ set.

The heart of the story was of course the 2-1 victory of Newcastle against Liverpool in the final sealed by Alexander Isak’s decisive strike.

Since the Swede is not yet so subtly according to Liverpool, the exhibition may accidentally have accidentally doubled as its own farewell tour-even if heroes don’t always stay nearby, the memories (and the trophy) stay here to stay here.
