Newcastle are pressing for an answer regarding a possible deal for centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo.
The 26-year-old, who will be a free agent after leaving Fulham this summer, has also attracted interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.

Newcastle are looking to strengthen their defensive line due to the long-term injuries to Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles.
The Magpies are also interested in versatile defender Lloyd Kelly, whose contract at Bournemouth expires this summer.
Given the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules, signing two players for free is a huge advantage for Newcastle’s summer transfer plans.
Adarabioyo is a long-term target for the Tynesiders and contact has already been made regarding a deal.
And the club want things to move quickly, with two Premier League rivals attracting interest; Man United are also interested in the 26-year-old following the departure of Raphael Varane.
Adarabioyo graduated from Man City’s academy and made his debut for the Premier League champions’ first team under Manuel Pellegrini in 2016.
He later played for City in a Champions League match against Celtic at the age of 19.
After loan spells at West Brom and Blackburn in the Championship, he was sold to Fulham in July 2020 for around £2 million.

It is believed that Man City had negotiated a 20 percent sell-on fee as part of the deal, but were unable to benefit from this clause after the player allowed his contract at Craven Cottage to expire.
He will move after a brilliant season for Fulham, impressing in his 25 appearances in all competitions despite missing the start of the season after undergoing groin surgery.
The centre-back position is considered a key signing for Newcastle this summer after a season marked by injuries in defence and star defender Botman missing most of the season.
Kelly, who moved from Bristol City to Bournemouth for £13 million five years ago, will also strengthen the options in defence.
And his ability to play as both a centre-back and a left-back makes him a versatile option for Howe in the long term.
