Fitness problems polluted his time on the field, and his first serious injury in 2013 when he missed 48 Arsenal games.

He suffered a further nine injuries to the Gunners and lacked a whopping 521 days for a total of over four years.

Oxlade chamberlain then spent almost a whole year in Liverpool after an ACL tear in 2018.

Towards the end of his time in the club, he also suffered another knee injury and a problem with his thigh.

His fitness has improved slightly in Besiktas, but he missed 18 games and 100 days in his first season after torn his thigh muscle.
