Besiktas has meanwhile claimed that the 28-year-old asked to delay the trip to Istanbul in order to undergo a medical one.
In a statement published on Thursday, the club said that they had decided to withdraw their interest despite the fundamental agreement with the defender.
“It is publicly known that the arrival of the professional football player Kyle Walker-Peter, with whom we previously announced an agreement and invited it to medical examination according to Istanbul, was postponed,” said Besiktas.
“Today Kyle Walker-Peters informed us and applied for an extension. As a result, our club has withdrawn its transfer. Our club continues its transmission efforts in accordance with its specified directive. We inform the public respectfully.”
Walker-Peters broke into the professional rows with Tottenham and made his debut under Mauricio Pochettino at the beginning of the 2017/18 season.
In January 2020, he made a change of loan to Southampton before moving the move in a £ 12 million switch the following summer.
The versatile full -back hit Ralph Hassenhuttl, Nathan Jones, Ruben Selles, Russell Martin and Ivan Juric, 202 games for Southampton.
Walker-Peters will now rate its options while planning his next step.
In the meantime it seems that Tammy Abraham will be the only English representative of Besiktas this season.
The English international secured a seasonal change of loan to Besiktas from Roma this summer after borrowing half of the last season at AC Milan.

This is followed by the recent departure of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who terminated his contract from the Turkish club this week.
The ex-Liverpool star spent two years in Istanbul, but tried to achieve the desired influence after an episode of injuries.
Oxlade chamberlain scored five goals in 50 games and helped the Black Eagles to successfully claim the Turkish trophy.
Solskjaer led Besiktas to a fourth place in the Turkish Superlig in the last term and to a place in the qualification players of the Europa League.
The Norwegian is expected to direct his team to the leader Galatasaray and Jose Mourinhos Fenerbahce, which will be out of control next season.
However, the breaking of the shape will plan due to the financial discrepancies between Besiktas and the other two Istanbul giants.
