TalkSPORT understands Patrick Bamford has seen a potential move to Ipswich Town fall through in January.
The England international only joined Sheffield United in November after being without a club since being released by Leeds last summer.

Bamford has been offered a surprise lifeline by Chris Wilder at Bramall Lane
It was a shock for several reasons. One of them was the fact that the striker was caught on video at Leeds making fun of the Blades and Wilder.
But his move has proven to be a good decision so far.
Bamford has scored five goals in 10 games for Sheffield United and is looking to continue in the second half of the season after a chaotic start under Ruben Selles.
The striker has only lost two of his games and has won seven times during this time.
And his form hasn’t gone unnoticed, leading to Ipswich coming calling, but the Tractor Boys have decided to move on to other targets.
Kieran McKenna’s men are fighting for automatic promotion and will be hoping for more goals after losing Liam Delap in the summer.
Ipswich are currently third in the Championship – two points behind Middlesbrough.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United are far from danger and are eight points above the relegation zone.
But if they want to make an advertising push, they have to be fundamentally perfect for the rest of the campaign.
This is because Wilder’s side are nine points clear of the play-offs.
They are currently in 16th place after two consecutive wins.

Back in shape
Bamford’s final season as a Leeds player was nothing to write home about as he only made 17 appearances for Daniel Farke’s men.
A mix of injuries and other options were the reason for the lack of playing time.
He was then informed in the summer that he was not part of Farke’s plans and his contract was terminated at the end of August.
The former Chelsea player was then without a club for three months before an unlikely hero arrived.
Wilder has given Bamford a new lease of life and the striker is already United’s second top goalscorer this season.
Speaking about his form at United, Bamford said: “I had quite a few opportunities in the summer, some just weren’t right for the time in my career or for where I wanted to take the next step.

“I knew Frank (Lampard) from Chelsea so I went to Coventry and trained hard every day with an excellent team.
“Pretty much a deal was done there, then the owner decided he didn’t want to do it, obviously they fly and I accepted that, Frank apologized and I moved on, grateful for the opportunity.
“It made it easier to get started here, I spoke to Chris (Wilder) on the phone for 20 minutes, I didn’t need any convincing and the contract was signed and sealed the next day.”
