New Manchester United, Patrick Dorgu, has revealed how the call and style of head coach Ruben Amorim convinced him to join the club.
Dorgu sealed a change of January for a first 25 million GBP, which was tidied up by Add-on, one of two defensive crowds of the mid-season, together with the former talent of the Arsenal Academy Ayden Heaven.
The 20-year-old Denmark International was evaluated as one of the brightest talents of series A and moved from the Danish Club Nordsjaelland to Italy at the age of 17.
In his first interview with Club Media, Dorgu Manchester United described as a “huge club” and the “largest in England” before expressing admiration for Amorim and his style of play.
“I am really looking forward to working with the new manager Ruben,” he revealed. “I have the feeling that this suits me very well, so I’m looking forward to being here. I just heard good things about him.”
Dorgu is expected to be used as a left-sided Wing-Back in Amorim’s system, with Luke Shaw not yet approaching full speed and Tyrell Malacia, which approached a loan to change PSV Eindhoven. This will also clear Diogo Dalot to return his stronger side on the right flank.
Dorgu is also versatile enough to play on the right and takes this position for Lecce quite often this season. His arrival even means that Shaw, as soon as Nussair Mazraoui, could act as the third middle injury to compensate for the injury at the end of the end of the end of the season.
The player supports himself as a physical and mentally strong individual.
“I think I will bring a lot of intensity and physique to the pitch,” he said. “A lot of energy and running.
“For me, [mindset] is the most important thing, because a lot of football is talked about and you have to be really strong outside of football.
“When I was in Italy, I lived alone. Of course my family visits me a lot, but they have to be mentally really good to stay concentrated and concentrate on football.”
