The front man of Oasis, Liam Gallagher, has long had a reputation to be one of the most lively characters in the music business – never afraid to say his opinion and never support himself from a confrontation.
However, the boss of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola, received a rare insight into the “Wonderwall” singer behind closed doors, and it is far from the hard -boiled reputation.
Guardiola and his daughter Maria took part in Oasis’ Homecoming appearance in Heaton Park – the first show of the band since 2009 – with his daughter Maria. There he not only soaks in the atmosphere and sang to the hits, but also had the chance to meet the Gallagher brothers, both well-known supporters of the city in Manchester City.
Although it is familiar with Noel Gallagher, who often visits games in Etihad, it was Guardiola’s first time that he hit Liam, and he has now opened through experience.
“It’s the first time I can Liam,” he said (above The mirror))). “Noel I’ve been together many times, but I have never met Liam before and I met him before the concert and he was so nice.”

At the gig itself, Guardiola could not have been free and the Oasis described as “the best rock band in the past 50 years” while taking the opportunity to compare it with his own city side.
“I don’t know how many countries you have sold out, but that means how good you were,” he said. “If (people) say that this team will be one of the best, I always say:” Ask me after 25 years “. If people still talk about this team, it was a good team.”
He added: “It’s like Oasis, no? You will come back and are sold out all over the world, it is because you are good. Otherwise it is not sold out.”
Even the biggest rock legends have a softer side, it seems.
