Player ratings as Gunners held by Mateta stunner

Arsenal was held 2-2 in the Premier League on the Wendeday Night by Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

The result was not enough to play Liverpool without playing the title without the Reds only needed one point from the next trip against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend to seal it.

An early Jakub Kiwior headball looked like he was getting the cannon for a comfortable victory, but Palace did not have the chances and rightly reached a level in the first half through Eberechi Eze.

Leandro Trossard restored Arsenal’s lead shortly before the break, with a spectacular later strike from the replacement Jean-Philippe Mateta ensured that the points were shared.
