Inter Booked her place in the Champions League final after he had replaced a classic encounter with Barcelona, with Davide Frattesis strike proving the difference in extra time after the two teams had held another 3: 3 draw in 90 minutes
Interisti undoubtedly rose on Tuesday evening on this occasion when they ensured that Barcelona was welcomed by a cacophony of noise in her grandimium amphitheater.
With Barca without her triggers, Robert Lewandowski only fit for the bank and her captain, who miraculously recovered from a thigh pollution in six days, there was a feeling that Inter enjoyed a special trip in San Siro.
There was no early fireworks like last week, but Inter was measured early. They kept their powerful opponents in chess while they were a pronounced threat every time they broke Barcelona’s first printing line.
Her control was rewarded by Lautaro Martinez, who brought the start in the middle of the first half, and although the visitors subsequently had a reaction, Inter remained up and doubled its advantage to ward off a 45-minute exhibition by Simone Inzaghi’s side. Hakan Calhanoglu achieved the penalty point from Pau Crubarsi’s challenge to Lautaro as a foul by The Var.
Inter went into the command of the entire construction, but Barca only took 15 minutes in the second half to restore parity. Gerard Martin’s development into a (Spanish and larger) Trent Alexander-Arnold turned out to be a key when he recorded Eric Garcia for a half-ficit before crossing himself excellently for Dani Olmo to compensate.
The superiority of the visitors in the second half seemed to have been rewarded by Raphhinha’s late strike, which was with the men from Flick to Munich, but Inter, who had not offered anything since Calhanoglus, was somehow alive with Francesco Acerbi’s compensation-time equalizer.
So the momentum was back with the hosts and they took their newly discovered energy at the beginning of the extension when Frattesi scored the seventh gate of an incredible second leg. After all, there was no subsequent drama that brought Barca Hearts into her second finale in three years as Inter.
