Manchester United’s defense of the FA Cup is over after Fulham defeated 1-1 after a 1-1 draw in Old Trafford at a penalty shootout.
After a first 45 minutes, in which both sides created very little, it was Fulham, who benefited from a degree in the defensive concentration, which United head coach Ruben was upset by Amorim. Rodrigo Muniz looked at Andreas Pereia’s corner, whereby Calvin Bassey reacted faster than Nussair Mazraoui and looked over Andre Onana’s right hand to give Fulham the lead.
United changed changes in the second half and attached the lively Alejandro Garnacho, and his direct approach gave Fulham at least something else that could be thought about.
The scores were constantly shaped by United’s captain Bruno Fernandes, who ended Roy Keane’s criticism for another week with an excellent first finish, in which Bernd Leno left in the air in the air.
No side was able to pay the game in 90 minutes, although United replaced Chido Obi, and Leno and Onana stood intelligent parades of Garnacho, Emile Smith Rowe and Ryan Sessegnon in the extension of Garnacho, Emile Smith Rowe and Ryan Sessegnon.
