Tottenham Hotspur defended himself from 2-0 on Sunday afternoon for a point against Bournemouth.
After a flat and lifeless display in Alkmaar on Thursday, Posetecoglou must be interested in the fact that his page comes out of the blocks fired against the cherries. Despite the return of Cristian Romero, Spurs could have had a couple behind him in the first ten minutes.
Probably the best urgent team in the Premier League has done chaos early on to create high -quality opportunities. Two fine Guglielmo vicario parades ensured that the Deadlock was not broken by the visitors, and the competition refused after a hectic first 15 minutes.
The hosts had more pleasure to break Bournemouth press and find the substitute between the lines, but rarely they were able to use the promising situations that they worked. Kepa Arrizabalaga was far from a busy man, and the Spaniard only obliged to make a simple stop from a Dominic Solanke head.
It seemed as if the two sides were entering the half-time-all-square square power, but a moment of serious quality of Milos Kerkez helped Bournemouth to open the goal shortly before the interval. The left -back jumped down to pick up Porros Underhit Pass to Brennan Johnson, raced down the touchline and delivered a breathtaking cross for Marcus Tavernier on the back post. The finish of the midfielder by Vicario was also not bad.
After Var -intervention, the cherries had a majestic second for the offside, and Spurs would have had to restore parity by Pape Sarr before the visitors finally doubled their lead over a Slick Evanilson finish via Vicario. The signs were threatening for Postecoglou and Spurs, with a quiet Tottenham hotspur stadium drifting into apathy. However, after Sarrs Cross-Cum-Shot had dipped over Kepa and the back corner to halve the deficit of the home team.
As a result, Bournemouth refused to panic and quickly restored the control, with Spurs continued to fight. A third goal from Cherries probably seemed before the hosts played excellently, son Heung-Min published on the left and won a penalty after Kepa inexplicably removed the South Korean. The Spurs skipper rose and paved the score with less than ten minutes.
It was a chaotic end of an entertaining competition in which both teams fought to make a match winner.

Both Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have been absent since 2024/25, but the couple enjoyed on Sunday. Romero took the bracelet in three months at his first start and took an hour before it was replaced by van de Ven by van de ven in a planned substitution.
The couple is crucial for this Tottenham team, but also not able to offer the necessary stability. Romero had a rocky start in view of Bournemouth’s more violent, but clever press and gave the ball on a few occasions, which led to good early chances. The Argentinian, who has just returned to March International in good time, showed its quality through several skything that went between the lines into the feet of Rodrigo Bentancur.
Romero was anything but his best, but there were signs before his withdrawal of the rust was shaken from a long absence. The 30-minute cameo of Van de Ven was less remarkable, although a course of driving illuminated the left left. He had just kicked the fight when Evanilson Bournemouth’s leadership doubled, and the Dutch had trouble building a relationship to the arrival of Kevin Danso immediately.
While Danso is undoubtedly an upgrade from Radu Dragusin, the followers of Spurs have longed to see Romero and van de Ven together again. The indications of Sunday indicate that we will see the tandem on Thursday evening.
Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth beat her weight this season because of her ability to win her back high in her field. They are an excellent urgent team and the visitors smelled blood on Sunday afternoon.
We saw a compact AZ team that sporadically used an unsafe Tottenham building on Sunday, and although the hosts Romero had again in the team, Bournemouth constantly forced the men from Postecoglou into dangerous giveaways. They undoubtedly press wildness, but their work also has efficient knowledge. Your timing is exactly right, just like the angles that the pressists take when the space is closed to ensure that there is no simple way out.
In the first ten minutes, Bournemouth had recorded three shots on Target after making only nine successful passes. You should see alone in a 2-0 lead (before you actually scored a few goals).
Their intensity rarely stopped, although Spurs produced a few slick sequences that made it possible for them to drive the Upfield. However, such cases were very rare, and Bournemouth therefore controlled the competition. You should have seen the game without much fuss, but a questionable decision by Kepa meant that you were back late.
