Premier League club make Nicolas Jackson priority target, and it isn’t Newcastle United

Aston Villa has made the outcast of Chelsea Nicolas Jackson priority for the rest of the transfer window, understands Talksport.

Unai Emery worked with the Senegalese striker in Villarreal, and he absolutely wants to be reunited with the striker.

The change in Villa’s priorities follows that Newcastle United viewed the Premier League team to the striker.

Chelsea currently appreciates Jackson at around £ 80 million, but every club that wants to sign the striker hopes for a fee that is available near GBP 60 million.

However, the blues are expected to use the fees of other players as guidelines this summer, which means that there may be little scope.

The villa is in a narrow point with PSR, so that a powerful fee could be a problem.

Instead, they look at various solutions.

One of them includes a loan with a purchase obligation that the London Giants are reluctant to sanction, as they look at the Villa rivals for the Champions League places this year.

And if you would allow Jackson to be borrowed, Chelsea wants a fee of £ 10 million.

Chelsea sees Morgan Rogers as a dream destination, although the villa has invited him this summer inviolable.

The blues are still trying to make a deal for Xavi Simons, but Talksport understands that they have difficulty approving a fee with RB Leipzig.

In the meantime, Jackson assumes that his time is over by Stamford Bridge and wants a step.

Is that the end for Jackson?

Jackson’s time at Chelsea is anything but over, but he has a very strong opportunity to stay in the Premier League.

The striker did not play any of the two games of the blues before the season, while he was nowhere to be seen on the opening weekend during the 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace.

Enzo Maresca added Liam Delap and Joao Pedro to his striker line this summer and saw how Jackson and Christopher Nkunku are frozen.

Before the blues against West Ham Live on Friday evening, Maresca confirmed that Jackson was fit but would not play.

He said: “He is available, but he won’t be part of the squad because, as we already said, we have two strikers, have two players in this position and we also know that something can happen before the transfer window closes.”

He was then asked if there was a broadcast nearby.

“No idea to be honest. No idea.

“You already know from last season that I preferred to prepare for training sessions, the game and this kind of things. I don’t know.”

But Scott Minto believes that he would be a good addition.

He spoke about the transfer insider and said: “I like Nicolas Jackson.

“He is strong. He is fast. He can let the channels run and can also let him hang from him by bringing the ball down and playing it in.

“The relationship [he had] With Cole Palmer it was very good, so I like him. He’s still raw.

Newcastle said to avoid Nicolas Jackson Transfer Alan Brazil

“He runs too sidelines and his serenity in front of the goal [isn’t great]But his numbers are still not bad.

“In terms of Aston Villa, I think it would be great for the Aston Villa.”

The 24-year-old came from Villarreal in a deal worth £ 32 million in Chelsea in the summer of 2023.

During his time, he led ten or more goals from the Premier League in the Stamford Bridge every season.

The criticism of him is that he misses too many opportunities, while in the past few months he has also struggled with his discipline, which was sent to rival Newcastle during a defeat against the Champions League.

Jackson was also recorded red in June during the defeat of Chelsea against Flamengo at the Club World Cup in June.

In the transfer window, however, time is running. It remains to be seen whether someone has completed a deal for Jackson.
