Raphael Varane has confirmed that he has played his last game for Manchester United.
The France international has sent a message of thanks to fans after announcing he will be leaving the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.

Varane moved to United from Real Madrid in 2021 and quickly emerged as a key player, helping the club win the Carabao Cup in 2023.
However, frequent injuries have limited his overall influence in the United team, limiting him to 21 league appearances this season.
And after three years at Old Trafford his contract expires and it was decided not to renew his contract.
In an emotional video on the club’s website, Varane – who is currently unavailable and unavailable for selection – said: “It’s been great years playing for this special club and wearing this jersey.”
“I fell in love with the club and the fans. You have to play for Man United to understand what that means.
“Despite the fact that we had a difficult season, I am very optimistic for the future. The new owners come with a clear plan and a great strategy.”
United’s final home game of the season is against Newcastle on Wednesday evening, where Varane will say a tearful farewell to the fans.
He added: “See you all at Old Trafford to say goodbye for the final home game of the season. It will be a very emotional day for me.”

Varane has made 93 appearances for the Red Devils after joining from Real Madrid in the summer of 2021 and suffering injuries during his time at the club.
The World Cup winner may not be fit for United’s final games of the season but will still be on the ground to say goodbye.
However, he could still return for the final game of the season when the Red Devils face Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
It could give Varane the perfect chance to end his Old Trafford career with more trophies, although many see City as heavy favorites.
