Real Madrid’s Rodrygo humbled during Brazil thrashing

The Brazilian striker of Real Madrid, Rodrygo, was at the end of a brutal midfielder Leandro Paredes during a humiliating 4-1 qualification defeat on Tuesday evening.

Rodrygo was enthusiastic at half -time, while the hosts were already 3-1 and were abolished from the field after not one and created a single shot. During a mass close -up before the break, the Brazilian was forced to aim at Paredes.

“You are very bad,” said Rodrygo to his Roma counterpart, as cited by Mundo Deportivo. Nevertheless, Paredes had a quick and sectional return. “I have two Copa America titles and a World Cup. You have zero. You have zero,” he shot back.

Rodrygo only made its international debut four months after Brazil’s triumph in Copa America 2019. In the following six years, the Wispy striker enforced the successive quarter -finals at the World Championship 2022 and last summer Copa America – both that won Argentina with Paredes in midfield.

Brazil’s only shot in the first half was Matheus Cunha’s destination that came from a rare piece of mistakes by Cristian Romero. Julian Alvarez and Enzo Fernandez had already fired a 2-0 lead.

Argentina ram their dominance after the interval, but only achieved once. Giuliano Simeone came from the bank to blow up in his first international goal.

Rodrygo has never been involved in a victory over Argentina. Brazil’s latest victory in this historical international rivalry in the Copa America final 2019. Despite its dominance, the 4: 1 -Thrashing is a new highlight for this iteration of the incumbent world champions -and a new Nadir for Brazil. Argentina has no longer beat Brazil with a three-goal lead since a side that was defeated in 1964 by the highly towering Antonio Rattin with a 3-0 victory against Peles Selecao.
