“I’m like a broken plate. When someone hears my podcast, I have said Osimhen for a while,” said the former central defender.
“He is a center forward, he has experienced, he knows how to score goals on the top level.
“I saw today that Galatasaray made a bid of 50 million pounds.
“I mean 50 million pounds to preserve a first-class striker, one of the top strikers in the world, is absolute peanuts on today’s market.
“I will be disappointed if he goes to Galatasaray for this kind of money if you write United for a number.”
When Ferdinand was asked whether he was disappointed not to sign Gyokoker, he insisted: “I will be disappointed to miss Gyokeres if we don’t get any No. 9 in.

Brentford winger Bryan Mbumo is said to have approved a move this summer, although there is still no breakthrough.
Ferdinand, however, decides to stay patiently over the business, as he noticed: “Listen to, Rome was not built in one day, right?
“People can be frustrated, but there is still a lot of time in the window.
“Obviously, you want to do your business early, which would be great, but I don’t think everything is going on and you have to be very happy that it happens.
“We have Cunha, it seems as if the club takes over that they want to get Mbumo, but they want to complete the offer at the right price that fits the club. This is the part of the negotiations and the activity.
“Ideally, I think you would like to see things in the background and you only announce one signing, but it wasn’t for Manchester United.
“I think if we get it, he is the kind of player that I have shouted about for over a year.
“So I hope that this will be done, but I would still like to see a center forward in the football club.”
Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who is a free agent after leaving Everton, is also understood as an option for United this summer.
Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, also want to go with Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.
