Ruben Amorim reacts to Saudi Pro League interest in Bruno Fernandes

Ruben Amorim has explained the obvious wish of Manchester United to keep captain and Talisman Bruno Fernandes in the middle of the rumored interest of Saudi Arabia Al Hilal.

Fernandes was not immune to criticism this season, but he also gained widespread praise for his effects in a fighting team.

This week, Al Hilal has been instructed, with the claim that Fernandes could offer the equivalent of 1 million GBP per week – to play four times his current salary – in the Saudi -Pro league.

“It is easy to understand, not only because of the numbers, but also because of the way he plays,” said Amorim when he was asked about the transmission speculation.

“He is a top player and we have to play a top player. He is a leader, the captain. It is of course that people want Bruno, but we want to keep him. He is one of the top players in the world.”

Fernandes has a contract in Old Trafford by 2027, which could be extended with a 12-month option by the summer of 2028.

Journalist David Ornstein explained during an appearance Sky Sports News The united wants the 30-year-old Fernand to the heart of their newly looking squad.

“He doesn’t go anywhere in United’s head. They will want to build around him,” said Ornstein.

“The sounds we receive from these reports are that Bruno Fernandes is not interested in moving because things stand. If he stays and his career in Europe wants to continue, Manchester United really does not intend to be in the club during his time, especially under difficult circumstances, to be incredible for UTD.”

Fernandes raised the FA Cup as a captain last season in its first season and was able to get the Europa League Trophy into its hands in the coming weeks. United has a commanding overall lead over the Athletic Club before the semi -finals on Thursday.
