Simon Jordan predicts Premier League boss could leave job after nightmare transfer window

Simon Jordan warned that Oliver Glasner Crystal Palace could leave after being frustrated when he lost his best players.

The Eagles have suffered a difficult summer transmission window, and it is getting worse now that Talksport understands that Captain Marc Guehi has now agreed to join Liverpool.

Guehi will undergo medical medicine in London after a fee between the two clubs has been agreed of £ 35 million.

The loan train of Palace for Brighton Defender Igor Julio, however, is composed while he chose West Ham. It remains to be seen whether this influences the move from Guehi to Angenld.

Palace’s willingness to sell represents a dramatic U -turn, with a deal appearing dead in the water just a few days earlier, after Glasner apparently indicates that Palace has the last say, just a day earlier.

The South Londoner drove to a 3-0 victory against Aston Villa on Sunday, with Guehi reaching the goalscore.

And after the victory of his team, Glasner was asked about the future of the defense lawyer and insisted that he and the chairman of Club, Steve Parish, had previously discussed how they would circumvent with any possible exit.

Glasner said: “We can make a decision. He is our player. He is under contract. He is not noticeable.

“He plays fantastic, he is our captain. We can choose. Nobody forces someone to sign a deal.

“It is up to us. The only one who decides whether Marc stays in the Crystal Palace or not, and I have to say it in this clarity is our chairman and no one else.

Glasner continued: “We talked about the situation in March. We knew that this was the situation and it can happen.

“And then we said: ‘Okay, either we are prepared and have the replacement in the building. He puts a pre -season with us and then we can agree to a deal. But if the replacement is not here, we are not agreed with a deal.

“This was our conversation, and it’s all about the future of Crystal Palace, for this season.”

Less than 24 hours later, it seems that Glasner will lose his second key player in a few weeks.

At the beginning of this month, Eberechi Eze came to Arsenal in a deal of 60 million GBP, and he and Guehi Central personalities as a Palace won his first large trophy with FA Cup gloss in the last term.

What did Simon Jordan say about Glasner’s situation?

The Eagles will now contribute the Brighton defender Igor Julio as a replacement for Guehi and arrange a deal for the young Toulouse interior defender Jaydee Canvot.

But with these distant ideal circumstances for Glasner, Jordan from Talksport believes that it is only a matter of time before the manager loses his patience about a lack of support from the club.

He discussed Glasner’s comments and said to Talksport: “What he talked about was what he wanted to do, what he told his chairman.

“There will be a collapse between Glasner and the Palace, clearly and definitely sooner than later.

“Because I think it is pretty clear that Glasner was supported a year ago, and he was not – and he took it on the chin.

“This summer he really expected that he was really supported. And that was before they sold Eberechi Eze. That is before they sold players.”

Jordan continued: “The fact that he sold his best player to Arsenal and now sell his captain and has spent very little will not compensate for the relationship.

“He still has a year in his contract. He is a very, very good manager. So I would suspect that this will cause some problems.

“A bloody central defender from Brighton is not the solution to sell one of the best central defenders in the world!”

Palace’s only summer obligation at the time of writing were Yeremy Pino from Villareal and the left -back Borna Sosa and goalkeeper Walter Benitez.

But when Glasner led the palace to her first cutlery and the qualification of the Conference League, Jordan insisted that he had the right to expect the association’s financial support.

He said: “Whether he is so disappointed and disenfranchised by the circumstances in which he is located [that he decides to leave].

“He is in a situation in which Palace had an unprecedented success.

“After a very bad start, they hit the league very hard. They won the FA Cup, they won the Community Shield, they play in Europe.

“His reward is to have an exhausted squad.”
