Eintracht Frankfurt retains the under -used striker of Real Madrid, Arda Guler, in the eye, hoping to lure him to the Bundesliga, according to a report in Germany.
Guler arrived in Madrid in the midst of 2023 in the middle of a lot of fanfare, but was limited to just 15 starts in all competitions in the following 18 months. The 20-year-old recorded a productive end of his debut campaign in Spain and scored five goals in his last five top appearances before playing to Turkey in the euro in 2024.
Arsenal was one of several sides that were connected to Guler during this year’s winter window, only so that the talented striker stays in the Spanish capital.
Since his participation remains minimal, speculation about Guler’s future has only increased, and now Eintracht Frankfurt has been charged as an interested applicant, so Sky Sport Germany.
Nothing has yet been “concrete”, and Guler is only a name on Frankfurt’s list of goals, but the Turkish Wunderkind is described as “not completely satisfied” with his situation at Real Madrid and is considered open to a transfer.
Spanish reports go one step further and suggest that the spindle playmaker has already decided that he wishes to leave permanent this summer.
The difficulty for Guler is that he fights for some of the best players in the world for a future -oriented position. Kylian Mbappe had to fight into the striker position and is flanked by Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo, with a certain Jew pushing forward from midfield.
Carlo Ancelotti has little time for those who question Gulers gradually. “I read that there is a ‘Guler problem’, but there is no case here,” the Italian coach swung last month. “It is a process – for him and for all young players. The same thing happened with Rodrygo, Vinicius, [Federico] Valverde … He takes time to integrate into the best squad in the world. Everyone understands that. And those who don’t do it have to. “
