Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi was awakened from his coma when he continued to recover from an emergency operation.
Awoniyi is said to have suffered a broken intestine during a collision with the 2-2 draw from Forest with Leicester City, and even tried to continue after Nuno Espirito Santo used his last replacement.
He was placed in an induced coma to support his recovery, but the Daily Mail Were the first to reveal that Awoniyi has woken up on Wednesday evening since the second part of his operation.
The incident continued to investigate the official to address the current offside log. Assistants are asked not to identify offside until the game comes to an end so that Var can check the action, but many had predicted that this could lead to an avoidable injury.
In Awoniyi’s case, Anthony Elanga had clearly run away from the side in the structure, but according to the guidelines the game was not stopped and the competitiveness of procedures ultimately led to Awoniyi’s collision with the post.

“It is terrible to see someone with whom they go through something like this, but I pray to God that everything is too plan and goes well and that we will soon hear from him. I sent him all of him.”
