Only a few devices in English football capture the imagination such as the Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool.
Goodison Park organized the first meeting in 1894 when the violent rivalry was born and subsequent duels were fought on the blue side of Stanley Park 119. There were ups and lows for both competitors from Merseyside, but in this game there is no more history at the historical event location.
