More about the Premier League

When asked whether Villa Jackson needs, Deeney said: “You absolutely need him. I have put my notes” toothless “, Aston Villa.

“There are long throws, there are set pieces, it just doesn’t look directly in midfield for me, there are too many central players.

“You have [Emi] Buendia on, you have [Morgan] Rogers, you have [John] McGinn, [Youri] Tielemans, they all come in the middle of the field.

“I don’t know how bad [Donyell] It is painting, but you have to put it on, you need a winger to open this field.

“But the two in the middle of half -time played it as a game before the season for Aston Villa, Tyrone Mings and Pau Torres.

“They literally only give it to each other, they have just given a throw-in on the edge of their own 18 yard box.”

Where next to Jackson?

After Chelsea Liam Delap and Joao Pedro signed, Jackson’s future became uncertain in their attack for the 2025/26 campaign.

Since his signing of Villarreal in 2023, he has scored 30 goals for the blues.

However, he missed the 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace and 5-1 victory against West Ham in the middle of the suspension and his transmission speculation.

Talksport understands that Villa Jackson made her priority signing before the summer window closes on September 1st.

Emery endeavors to reunite with the 24-year-old after his earlier connection in Villarreal.
