How Oliver Burke made a Bundesliga story

The European football expert Andy Brassell said in the Trans Euro Express Podcast from Talksport: “Union went there to Eintracht Frankfurt, who looked the best team in the Bundesliga this season, and won 4: 3 in an exciting, crazy game.

“Thanks to this Oliver Burke Hattrick, they were 4: 1 at a point.
And admitted a few delayed goals, which made it 4-3.

“If they had never seen Oliver Burke and had no prejudices about him, they would have looked at it and they thought that this guy is incredible.

“It is a brilliant hat trick, everything on the counterattack.
They forget what incredible pace he has.

“He started in Nottingham Forest as a broad player in his early days.

“And I don’t know if we need a few more games like this, but when do we get to the point where Scotland cannot choose it?”

This year, RB Leipzig paid £ 13 million to sign him as a teenager from Nottingham Forest, and then a record fee for a Scottish player.

The following year Burke moved to West Brom in a deal worth 15 million GBP, with stints around EFL, Celtic and now back in Germany.

Oliver Burke cannot get into the Scotland squad

Che Adams, who is involved in Scotland’s squad this month, is without a goal for Turin this season.

Two of his second studies are currently playing in the championship, while the other, Kieron Bowie, only scored four times for Hibernian last season.

No Scottish striker achieved Euro 2024 last year, with Scott Mctominay being the country’s only scorer in Germany.

Danny Kelly, moderator of the Trans Euro Express podcast, added: “It is one of my favorite acquisitions, I go, Oliver Burke cannot come to the squad of Scotland.

“It was five years ago that he played international football. Now I know that he was a wandering nomad of a footballer, but there is talent there.

“I am not sure that Scottish listeners can tell us why it is not suitable, but so much talent does not vibrate around in the squad in Scotland and improve, even though it has been in recent years.”

Vince Mennie was the first Scotsman to play in the Bundesliga after making his debut for Cologne 42 years ago.

Burke himself scored a goal last season after scoring a double for Werder Bremen last season.

It saw him on Alan McINally’s trick, which brought in a clip for Bayern Munich twice in 1989, but now Burke has the coveted hat trick.

European football expert Andy Brassell explained in the Trans Euro Express podcast from Talksport: “I think he will pursue this.

“I think he will score more goals because you can see the players he came around and they have rebuilt them pretty well.

“I do not think that the Union will qualify for Europe or the like this season. But Ielyas looked at Ilyas who comes to number 10 that has created one of his goals today is a great player, great vision.”
