Tottenham have agreed to sign goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague in a deal worth £12.5m.
Coach Ange Postecoglou is currently struggling with a squad crisis that is severely affecting his options in goal.

First-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario remains out with a long-term ankle injury, while substitute Fraser Forster is ill ahead of Saturday’s Premier League visit to Newcastle.
As first reported by The Pitch Prospect, this means Spurs will hand 25-year-old Brandon Austin his senior debut for the lunchtime game – nine years after the goalkeeper joined the club in 2015.
Tottenham have moved quickly to address the issue by signing Czech youth international Kinsky in the January market.
The 21-year-old will fly to England on Saturday evening for a medical examination.
Kinsky has impressed in the Czech top flight this season, keeping 12 clean sheets in 19 games and helping Slavia Prague to the top of the league.
He unexpectedly made the jump to the first team after number 1 goalkeeper Jindrich Stanek suffered a serious injury before the 2024/25 season.
Questions have been asked of Forster during Vicario’s absence as Tottenham have conceded 15 goals in their last seven games.
On the need for reinforcements in January, Postecoglou said on Friday: “It’s not about applying pressure, but I think the club is working hard to get some help to the group of players and it’s no secret, we need to strengthen.” Our numbers have increased slightly. January is not an easy month.
“We understand that it is not an easy time to onboard people particularly quickly. At the same time, we want to continue to make sure we’re doing what we think is best for us, rather than just panicking and bringing in people who aren’t a good fit for us.
“They don’t throw New Year’s parties, they work out there trying to improve our situation and they will continue to do so.”

In total, Tottenham are currently without eight first-team players due to injury, suspension and illness in camp.
Aside from their goalkeepers, Spurs were also significantly affected in defense with regular players Destiny Udogie, Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero all sidelined.
Postecoglou’s men have struggled during the squad crisis, winning just once in their last seven league games and plummeting to 11th in the Premier League table.
When asked if the situation made him want to pull out his hair, Postecoglou replied: “I wouldn’t have a good bald head, my wife would definitely leave me!”
“I’ve never been the kind of nice guy who says, ‘Woe is me’ and ‘Can anything else go wrong?’ That’s a hell of a challenge.”
“I keep telling the guys there that wherever we end up, it will just make the story better and more interesting in the end.”

The Pitch Prospect understands Tottenham are also considering a move for AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori in January.
Newcastle, West Ham and Brentford are also keen on the former Chelsea centre-back given his recent problems in Italy.
