Tottenham Hotspur Wing player Dejan Kulusevski sees almost certain that after a knee surgery it misses the Europa League final of the next week.
Kulusevski suffered a problem with his right patellar against Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Spurs have now confirmed that another medical consultation has led to the decision that the Swedish winger operated on this topic.
In a statement by the club, it was stated on Wednesday afternoon that Kulusevski will “start with our medical staff immediately”.
Spurs has not offered a time frame for recreational times. However, it seems very unlikely that Kulusevski will play only a week after the knife in the final of the Europa League.
It would be an almighty blow for Tottenham’s chances of winning against Manchester United in Bilbao.
Kulusevski has 21 goals and helps his name in all competitions this season. Especially against United, he won twice in Premier League and Carabao Cup.
After Posetecoglou has supervised a bad domestic campaign, he sets a trophy in a club in the second season in the Europa League. The success in the final would deliver a first big cutlery for Spurs in 17 years.
Victory also means the qualification of the Champions League, almost like an exit from the prison – -free card after not qualifying for European football through conventional domestic League route next season.
