As The Pitch Prospect has learned, Tottenham are among the clubs keeping an eye on England’s new signing Angel Gomes.
Midfielder Gomes will be a free agent when his contract with Lille expires next summer.

The 24-year-old began his career at Manchester United, joining the academy at the age of six.
He moved to Ligue 1 in 2020 after being released by the Red Devils.
Gomes made his senior England debut against Ireland during the international break.
He came as a replacement for Kobbie Mainoo in his team’s 2-0 victory before he scored in the second Nations League Collision with Finland.
With Jude Bellingham unable to play due to injury, it is likely that Gomes will take his place.
The New England coach knows Gomes well from his time as coach of the U21 national team, with which the duo won the U21 European Championship last summer.
And his impressive performances for the Three Lions have attracted a number of clubs, including Spurs.
Despite being released by Manchester United at a young age, Gomes already has experience in the Premier League.
He appeared as a substitute four times for the Red Devils, his first time in the 2018/19 season.
Carsley praised Gomes highly after the game against Finland.

He said: “He loves football, he watches football, he is interested in tactics, he knows all the players in every league.”
“When you ask him for feedback, you have to be prepared for him to give you feedback on the session or how we’re going to set up or what positions we’re going to take.”
“He often talks about the play he has made at other clubs or who he has played against, because he obviously plays in France and therefore sees different things.”
“He totally deserves it.”
