Trent Alexander-Arnold ‘says yes’ to Real Madrid transfer

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is said to have given his consent to one transfer To Real Madrid in 2025.

Alexander-Arnold is in the final six months of his contract with Liverpool and is considered Madrid’s top transfer target. They have already failed in an attempt to get a cheaper deal this month and have reportedly started to accept that a January transfer will not happen.

MARCAThey, meanwhile, refuse to rule out a move in January and predict a different approach in the coming weeks.

The confidence comes from claims that Alexander-Arnold has already said ‘yes’ to a move to Madrid, who want to offer Liverpool one last chance to cash in on their right-back before he leaves on a free transfer.

Madrid are just as willing to wait until the summer to sign Alexander-Arnold for free, and so will not break the bank to sign a player who has reportedly already given his consent to a move in the next six months anyway .

A summer transfer looks highly likely with neither Liverpool nor Alexander-Arnold looking to disrupt the Reds’ fight for the Premier League title.

Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has been informed that Alexander-Arnold is the only transfer target for the January window, which will see no new signings unless the right-back moves.
