But even though Havertz, who led the attack on Saturday afternoon, got on the scoresheet, many fans still believe that Arsenal need to buy a real striker.
However, Arteta says he is happy to rely on the attacking options currently available to his team.
Speaking to The Pitch Prospect after Wolves’ victory, he said: “I have confidence in [Havertz]we have confidence in [Gabriel Jesus].
“Leandro Trossard played in this position.”
“So we have different qualities in there and the best thing we can do is trust the players we have and try to improve them.”
“They are so good and so willing and that is what we are focusing on.”
Last season, Arsenal’s goals were spread across a number of players, with winger Saka being the team’s top scorer with 22 goals in all competitions.
Meanwhile, Manchester City, who again challenged them for the title last season, can boast of striker Erling Haaland, who scored 27 goals in the league alone.
This summer, the Gunners have so far signed Riccardo Calafiolri in defence and also goalkeeper David Raya on a permanent contract from Brentford.
In the meantime, Real Sociedad Midfielder Mikel Merino was not included in the squad for Sunday’s match Rayo Vallecano while he is in talks with the Gunners.

But when asked if he expected the Gunners to remain active until the end of the transfer window, Arteta indicated that his team were in no rush to make transfers.
He said, “Well, there is time, there are opportunities.
“And if the market in this league is ready, [we’ll] be ready.”
Next Saturday, Arsenal will face Aston Villa away in the Premier League.
They will then face Brighton before a crucial double match against Tottenham and Man City.
