As The Pitch Prospect has learned, Ipswich are considered favourites to sign Liam Delap from Manchester City.
Man City have signed deals worth £20 million with Ipswich and Southampton for the young striker.

Delap is believed to have been at Ipswich’s training ground earlier this week as they attempt to finalise the deal.
After starting his career in Derby’s youth team, Delap moved to Man City in 2019, where he continued his development.
The 21-year-old not only scored one goal in six appearances for City, but also played three times on loan in the EFL.
This included time at Stoke City and Preston in the 2022/23 season before spending last season at Hull City.

While Hull missed out on promotion, Delap scored eight goals in 32 games for the Tigers.
Should Ipswich complete a deal, Delap would not be the only talented English player to join the club this summer.
Ben Johnson has already joined from West Ham, while Omari Hutchinson joined from Chelsea for £20 million.
Ipswich are also hoping for a double deal with Hull City duo Jacob Greaves and Jaden Philogene, although Everton and Crystal Palace have also shown interest in the latter.
