During the recent encounter between the clubs, which led to a close victory in the city, Bergvall was awarded for the six -time manager of the Premier League.
“Every time he has and runs the ball, he cannot be stopped,” said Guardiola about the 19-year-old Sweden.
These comments have led to speculation that Guardiola Bergvall could consider a useful addition to the current squad in the Etihad Stadium. But while the boy was often praised by such a colossus of modern game, he does not make a deeper meaning.
“Of course it’s fun, but it doesn’t matter in the big picture,” said Bergvall to the Swedish broadcaster SVT During this week in international service.
“I’m just trying to play football and develop all the time and help the team. It is always fun to get praise and you should take on. But I’m not trying to put too much value on it.”
Bergvall came to Spurs last February after impressed by the domestic giants. The transmission cost only 8.6 million GBP and it played a larger role than many expected in his debut season. Most of the early Spurs chances of Bergvall came in the Europa League, but since January he has been a regular starter in Poseteclou’s Premier League line -up.
More space in the midfield of Manchester City will probably open soon.
