Joshua Zirkzee, who is being courted by Manchester United, once felt the full force of an angry Vincent Kompany when he lectured him after the game.
The Dutch star was playing for Bayern Munich when he joined Belgian club Anderlecht on loan for the 2021/22 season.

Under Kompany’s leadership, the striker enjoyed a wonderful season in which he scored 18 goals and provided 13 assists, helping the club to third place in the Belgian Pro League.
But despite being one of their stars, Zirkzee felt the wrath of the Manchester City legend after a clash with Sint-Truiden in October 2021.
After leading 2-1, Anderlecht conceded a goal in the 94th minute and missed the win. After the game, there was a heated debate with his team.
“Listen. Make no mistake. There’s a fucking side to me you haven’t fucking seen, boys,” said the Man City legend.
“First of all, Wes, whether we play three, four, five or six players is my damn decision and I take responsibility if we lose and don’t do well.
“The second thing: Zirk, (this is) the last time I’m talking about your attitude – you come over, I don’t expect you to f***ing smile, but I want to see a attitude that’s perfect.
“You weren’t good, just like everyone else – I could have taken everyone out, from Hendrik to the last one. Without anyone complaining.”
“Today we deserved to lose. We can be damn happy with one point.”

While Kompany has now taken over the helm at FC Bayern Munich, Zirkzee is reportedly close to moving to Manchester United.
The Red Devils are close to completing a deal with the Bologna star, whose contract includes a £34 million release clause.
